Stand Up Straight! new single OUT NOW

Written by admin. Posted in News

Tackling the tension we are feeling in this day and age is addressed in “Stand Up Straight” where we find New York Post Punk funk legend Salvatore Principato aka Sal P of Liquid Liquid delivering his plea to “make some noise” in this hypnotic percussive house killer. Low slung bass, anxious guitar, kalimba, mad timbales are all in the mix.

NYC edit masters Duane Harriott and Sean Marquand aka Devin Dare have released some of the most memorable and dancefloor busting tracks La Mission, Stilove4Music, Apron and Mister Saturday Night sublabel Misterio. They push up the Afrobeat percussion pressure on their peak time remix master blaster.

Despite plugging away at excellent filth infused disco releases on their own Codek imprint since the turn of the century, In Flagranti rise to prominence in recent times has been mostly down to the sheer amount of remixes they have been commissioned to undertake. The Swiss duo have lent their trademark sound to acts on labels as diverse as Kitsune, Rong/DFA, Phantasy Sound, Permanent Vacation, Backyard and Bang Gang. The boys freak out the funk on their excellent version.

Scatalogics Record’s Ulysses, having released gems on Lasergun, Guidance and Thrones Of Blood, takes us on a deep space acid tinged mind trip for his unique rendition, revolving and expanding into headphone sex action.

FIORUCCI-new single OUT NOW!

The first single off the upcoming album Galleria is FIORUCCI!

The iconic Italian 80s new wave fashion line Fiorucci is highly praised in this Italo Disco homage featuring the coldwave breathless vocals of Dalila Pasotti.

This fusion of that sleazy nightlife of then mixed with a very Electro house pulse of now captures this timeless designer’s aesthetic.

With releases having topped the charts of Beatport, Juno, and HypeM, and garnered support from the likes of Annie Nightingale on BBC Radio 1, Tensnake, Bicep, Todd Edwards, and more… Aimes remodels Fiorucci in what he describes as “strung out Italo” with muscular synths in full on leather disco action.

France’s Moustache Machine flips the script with a lush synthwave landscape and serious funky boogie vibes. This one really takes you on a ride into the sunset on a heavy neon grid highway.
